Mario Soave

Mario Soave is an Italian artist with a considerable reputation.
Mario Soave was born in 1955, in Forte dei Marmi (Lucca, Italy) where he lives and works. His father was a sculptor of considerable experience and his older brother is a painter and graphic designer.
Coming very young to painting, at the age of thirteen he won his first national competition. Later he attended the artistic high school and the Academy of Fine Arts of Carrara, Italy, where in 1979 he graduated obtaining the highest grades.
After a period dedicated to the New Figuration, he moved on to the study of the landscape. His ability in landscape painting has won him many awards. He takes part in various national and international competitions that he wins and draws the attention of famous critics and well-known artists.
Interest in his art began after a feature article appeared in the influential magazine Arte in 1988, and has grown since then. Money magazine included the art of Mario Soave in its summary of "Investments Under $50,000 That Are Most Likely to Pay Off."
His works are present in the major Italian and foreign galleries (England, France, Germany, Spain, United States, Latin America, New Zealand, China and Russia)..
